Acknowledgment of personal data processing & Disclaimer

 

 

Applicable Law

  • This disclaimer has been prepared based on the Personal Data Protection Laws issued by Royal Decree No. (M/19) dated 02/29/1443 AH corresponding to 09/16/2021 AD and its executive regulations, and it will be referred to hereinafter as (the Applicable Law).
  • In the event of a conflict between what is stated in this disclaimer and the law, the provisions of the applicable law will apply.
  • This disclaimer is updated periodically or when there is any amendment to the system.

 

Data retention

  • By registering on the Elaa platform and participating in training programs, you acknowledge and agree to retain your personal data, including - but not limited to - your full name, contact information, age, education, employment status, training and skills development record, and any evaluations or certificates you may have obtained.

 

Data retention period

  • Your personal data will be kept for the duration of your participation in our training programs and in accordance with what is stated in the applicable law.
  • Your personal data will be retained for an additional period of (10) years after your last participation in our training services, provided that everything that identifies you will be removed when retention is no longer required.
  • The data retention period is necessary to ensure that we are able to maintain accurate records for the purposes of audit and accountability from stakeholders.

 

Trainee Rights

You have many rights as a trainee regarding your personal data, including, but not limited to:

  • Right to information: You have the right to obtain information about how we collect, use and process your personal data.
  • The right to request access: You can request access to the personal data we hold about you at any time.
  • The right to request correction, completion or updating: You have the right to request correction, supplementation or updating of your personal data if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • The right to request deletion: You may request that we delete or destroy your personal data, however please note that we may not be able to delete some data for system compliance purposes.
  • The right to complain: If you believe that your rights have been violated, you have the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
  • The right to access data: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold.
  • The right to withdraw consent: If you consent to the processing of your personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time, noting that withdrawing consent may affect your ability to participate in certain aspects of the program.

 

Privacy Notice

  • Processing of personal data: When you are accepted into the training program, your full name, email address and phone number will be processed by the third party Learning Management System (LMS) of the National Training Center for Facilities and Hospitality Management (FHM) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Data protection and security: We will keep your personal data within the Kingdom and it will be protected in accordance with the law.
  • Explicit consent: By accepting this declaration, you agree to the processing of your personal data within the Kingdom.
